November Favorites!

Ooooh dear, I just saw the date and I almost fell out of my chair!
IT'S DECEMBER YOU GUYS! You know what that means right? I can officially be in Christmas mood now and no one's allowed to judge me anymore =D YESSS!

BUT let's just cast one last look on November, listing my favorites of this month!
1. My MICKEY MOUSE ONESIE (can't NOT write that in caps), oh my god! It's so fluffy and so warm and so comfy and I don't ever wanna take it off again. When I have Uni at night I'm always thisclose to just going there with my Onesie on like Idon'tgiveafuck. Fortunately, I give enough fucks to put on normal clothes every time. But still the most awesome thing ever.
2. Lipbalms of every form and color, and you know why. With the days getting colder, my lips are getting dry and it's painful. The balms you can see in this pic are just the ones I could grab on short notice. In my opinion you can never own too many of those - I have one in every pocket, every bag, every case; they need to be available AT ALL TIMES. Hydrate the shit out of them lips.
3. H&M eyeshadow palette - new edition! HA. I like that one almost better than the one I already owned xD Again, the matte and light colors aren't very great, but basically all of that middle set and most of the other darker shades are super AWESOME. GET if you can.
4. Avène skin recovery cream for hypersensitive skin. Uhm I don't know about having hypersensitive skin, I probably don't. But this stuff just feels really nice on my face, hydrates me really well and I do think my skin is healthier since I use it. Also, I love that it smells of nothing at all. That's really nice.
5. I already talked about this nailpolish by ANNY, called "goldfinger", in my favorite products of all time list, and all I said then is still true. The reason why I mention it again now is because this is also my go-to holiday nailpolish for Christmas. I put it on slightly early this year because I'm really feeling the Christmas/winter mood already, but it's absolutely not acceptable to put up Christmas decorations or anything of the kind before December, so I just celebrated quietly with my nailpolish xD
6. Directions Hair colors in "Rubine" and "Poppy Red" Ok, while I love everyone at my hairdresser's, I just cannot afford to pay 50 euros every three weeks to get my hair back to proper red (it just washes out so quickly!), which is why I ordered these ones via amazon. Now, on the pictures they both looked EXACTLY the same, and for 7 euros per can I thought I'd just order both and see what happens. Turns out, they are not even close to being the same xD "Rubine" is this almost black goo, while "Poppy Red" is really intensely red. So I mixed them together, but I guess I took too much "Rubine", now parts of my hair have that purply tinge. I actually don't mind that so much, but I'll still try using more "Poppy Red" next time. Anyways, they're my favorites because they are very much more time- and money-efficient than getting my hair dyed by the pros.

So those are my fashion and beauty favorites I guess.
Maybe I should mention that any kind of scarf or sweater or anything fluffy and warm was also a big friend of mine this month, it's been really cold.

As for music favorites, not much has changed from last month. I still listen to all that basically non-stop.
There has been an addition though: My boyfriend recently bought the Florence + the machine CDs and kind of infected me with that too. My favorite track is probably "Drumming Song", but I also love "All this and heaven too".

As for LoL, I have been loving Leona recently. I didn't use to play her that much, because my carry (=Jan) didn't like to play aggressive in lane, so I would stick to healers like Sona or Nami. But with the changes they made in preseason passive laning just doesn't pay off so well anymore, so we tried out Leona with carries like Varus or Lucian and it has worked out pretty well.
So that's why these days Leona is my go-to Champion.
Thanks to Yaya, I'm using the Poolparty Leona skin, but I also like her classic design ^^

SPEAKING OF SKINS.
Have you kids all picked up your Popstar Ahri yet?
because it. is. perfection.
Anyone who has ever seen a concert of SNSD or their video for "Genie" (korean) knows that this thing is one single Girls' Generation reference and as a fan ... I couldn't NOT buy it.
I DON'T EVEN PLAY AHRI.
But I had to have that skin.

So far so good. I don't think I have a favorite food for this month, because I just enjoyed eating ALL OF THE FOOD! xD
Aaaaaaaand I think that's it for now.
Ok guys, thanks so much for reading and as always: Let me know if you tried any of this & also what your November favorites are!
Love

Quick Review: Catching Fire

Soooooo I'm home from the cinema just now and tired as fuck, but I just cannot WAIT until tomorrow to say what I have to say about Catching Fire.

This.
Movie.
Is.

GREAT.

It was a very emotional night for me guys.
Ok, I'm a huge sucker for the ENTIRE Hunger Games franchise, I have literally read the three books in the matter of a week the first time.
And as an adaption of the books, Catching Fire was - more so than the first movie - almost perfect.
The casting was superb (except for Snow's granddaughter who looks just like Prim which is entirely confusing - but will you LOOK at Finnick?), the sets and make-up were just like I imagined them and... I don't know, I can just say that all in all it's just like the book.
Well, it's how I experienced the book anyways.

JLaw does some great acting, but I guess I'm biased because I also think she seems like an awesome person to hang out with (or maybe she just has amazing PR), but my absolute favorite is Elizabeth Banks as Effie, she just rocks. that. role. She needs to get more credit for this!

And while that's all super great, there ARE some problems that I do have, which are as follows:
- The cat. You guys. The cat in the first movie was black-and-white, this one is an orange tabby, which is already stupid because it's supposed to be the same cat. But also those are both wrong Oo Like, it's just this tiny little detail but the thing is called Buttercup, because it has dirty yellow fur. Could you not get this right? Stupid problem, I know.
- I already said that the girl that plays Snow's granddaughter looks way too much like Prim. Like, in her first scene I went "WTF, why is Primrose casually having breakfast with the President??". So that's that. Maybe a bit too confusing, but she's just a minor character.
- Here's the only thing that really disappointed me: When Katniss finds out what the Quarter Quell is about, in the books, she has this complete melt-down. Like, she goes into the basement of an empty house and just tears shit up and screams for like several hours. In the movie, she just walks out into the woods, has a bit of a sexy-cry (everyone refer to this, if you don't know what I mean), and then we're good. No. Just no. You have an academy award winning actress on your hands, fucking make her have that emotional moment. PLEASE.
This scene had just SO much impact on me while reading (because it gives so much insight on how messed up and crazy Kantiss is from her first Games, which btw is an aspect that generally got a little down-played too much, imho) and I guess my expectations were probably too high but even then what they finally did with it was... underwhelming =(

But I guess my other (also very high) expectations were all met very well, really. I was EXTREMELY hyped for this movie and not disappointed, which is more than I could have asked for.
So, can we just get Mockingjay out ... ? Right now would be a good time for me.

Ok I guess I'm just gonna stick with the fact that I LOVED this movie.
If you disagree, no offense, you probably didn't read (or like) the books, OR your expectations were even higher that mine, but if that's the case...you need to calm down.

Go watch Catching Fire, if you have not seen it yet, or better yet: read the books first, then go watch it.
Good Night for now (sorry for inconsistent writing and/or spelling mistakes, I'm just really tired),
and thanks for reading!
Love,

"November Days" Make-Up Tutorial (also: short hair & other exciting news)

Hey peeps,

today's post is very special to me for multiple reasons. First: I have had my hair cut shorter than it has been in... at least 5 years (wow Oo), and I'll be revealing that today.
Also (and more importantly), I'm proud to announce that I am now a volunteer for the What to Wear page!
I found out by complete chance that they were looking for volunteers and I immediately applied. They answered very quickly and were super nice the whole time, and apart from their massive abuse of hashtags (;P) they seem like a bunch of very cool people. They agreed to post my make-up tutorials to their wall and also let me do some posts on fashion news and other fashion journalism and I'm just so EXCITED, I'm about to BURST!
So yeah, that's happening in my life. It's pretty awesome.
If you guys could just head over there and give the page a thumbs up, that would totally make my day <3

Okay, now let's get into the post!
Today we will be creating this look
that I have named "November Days" because the colors remind me of grey and foggy November weather. Now this is a very soft and subtle look, because it's supposed to be wearable for any occasion. I've been wearing this almost every day now, weather to Uni or out to dinner with my parents - it always seemed appropriate. Let's get started.

1. First I did my usual foundation-concealer-powder routine for preparation, and then I started off by filling in my eyebrows. Now, I haven't been doing this for long, and I'm still in doubt over weather it's needed at all (I'm just not an eyebrow kind of person...), and usually I'll do it AFTER my eye make-up is finished, so that I can better balance out the look. But since I knew what look I was going for, I was able to do my eyebrows first and get that out of the way.
Now, don't go crazy with the eyebrows, because the eye look is very soft and you don't wanna overwhelm it. I just filled in some sparse patches to give them more shape and that's all.

2. Now pick up a warm brown color (mine is shimmery, but matte would work just as well) and spread it well into your crease. Try to pick a shade that's similar to what natural shadows on your face look like, because it's supposed to have a contouring effect. I have been loving this technique lately!

3. Your main color should be a well-pigmented shimmering pale grey. Mine has a bit of a lilac/baby blue undertone which I think looks sooo precious, so if you can find one like that, definitely use it!
Apply to the center of your lids and then blend it with the brown we used before.

4. Next bring your brown color from before down and line about half of your lower lashline with it.

5. Now this step is important, brightening the inner corners! I have developed a special technique for this, since it's so easy to end up with glitter all over the place, but still not enough color pigment where you actually need it (and that just looks messy). So, here's what I do: I apply a tiny bit of LIQUID white eyeshadow right into the corner of my eye, then blend that out towards my upper and lower lashlines. Then, quickly while it's still wet, I put a very sparkly white eyeshadow over top of that to set it in place. This way, the color will be pigmented enough and the sparkle will stay in place, because it's sticking to the liquid shadow. I do this with almost every make-up look and it works great for me - no more messy corners!

6. After that, just line your upper lashline with a dark grey,

7. your waterline with white or pink,

8. and then apply mascara as you see fit.

After that all you need is some blush (don't neglect that though, you'll need some warmth in your face with all those cold colors), and maybe some lipstick. Since it's getting really cold outside by now, I tend to choose just a tinted lip balm that I can reapply over the course of the day to keep my lips moisturized.
Anyways, that's the finished look and here's some more pics for you to see more angles of it.
Also - of course - my new hairstyle! (omg!)

 SO SHORT!

 crazy eyes!
Also, the tips of my hair are this purply color right now which was not supposed to happen, but I kinda like it...
Got a bit of weird camera focus going on here, but the make-up shows nicely.
...I just thought this one turned out pretty ^^
Trinception! Taking a photo in two mirrors at once! =O
I was really just playing around by then ^^

Anywho, that's all for today.
Again, please support "What to Wear" by liking their page (you're also supporting my posts!).
If you try out this look, send me pics and/or tell me how it worked out for you! Also, how do you like my short hair? =O
Well, thanks for reading and I'll talk to you soon!
Love,
T <3

Quick Review: Thor - The Dark World

Hey folks so the gang and I finally went to see the new Thor yesterday, which was probably a bad idea since I was already feeling sick and now I'm just staying in bed all day but I REGRET NOTHING!

Okay, Thor 2 can't really compare with Iron Man 3 which was just AMAZING, but I still thought it was pretty good.
We get Natalie Portman back, and I love her as an actress but there's a bit of a plot hole as to WHY she wasn't in "The Avengers" and how she spent her time in between the movies, but whatever.
I loved the comic relief scenes in this movie; Jane's assistant Darcey is a lot of fun and of course we get LOKI! (I gotta say I'm not exactly 100% aboard  the Loki-train that's running rampant on imgur right now, but I DO think he's an awesome character and I was glad he had an important role in this movie again, because, let's face it, Thor is pretty, but he's not very entertaining.)
The plot is pretty basic. Some evil dudes cause trouble because of an infinity stone that Jane happens to find, shit goes down. There's not much to it really. But the visuals are great, the action scenes are very nice and I gotta really say, the costume designers did a lot better than in the first Thor movie, when all the Asgardians just looked like they came from a cheap video game. Or maybe I just loved Natalie Portman wearing Asgard fashion so much, I ignored everything else in the movie xD.
I enjoyed watching it a lot, the pacing felt really nice and the story was, while not very complex, enjoyable. I definitely recommend you go see it, if you haven't already.

The only disappointment was the Collector, whom we get to see at the end (tip: Do not leave the room until after ALL the credits rolled. This is a MARVEL film, have your learned nothing?), who looks like - as Jan put it - a character that could come from "The Fifth Element". This is NOT a compliment.

Anyways, the whole thing is very exciting, I'm glad I watched it and I hope you'll be too.
If  or when you've watched it, let me know what your thoughts are and which MARVEL movie you're most pumped for in the future!
Now I'm getting pizza delivered to my bed, which is just about the best thing ever, so I'm singing off. But as always, thanks for reading and I'll talk to you soon!

Wedding photos!!!

Hah.
Yeah, did you even expect me to follow up on that promise?
I always planned to, but I don't see my sis so much, which is why I only received the photos last weekend when she and my brother-in-law (we still giggle whenever I say this xD) invited me to a Wellness weekend as a late birthday present.

Anyways, here they are. ENJOY!
First off, the bride and groom both looking STUNNING and absolutely adorable!

At the civil registry office. There are so many photos where they look at each other all in love and stuff... and I chose to put up this one where Tobi is doing some sort of frog face xD I still think it's cute :3

Hey, there's me! I cried more that my sister (then again... so did the groom xP). I'm glad the photographer didn't take any snotty pictures of me - phew!

Remember what I said about eye smiling when I'm really happy? Yeah, like that. I'm so glad this is black and white, because my teeth are REALLY yellow ^^ Other than that I really like this photo =)

XD. My boyfriend looking GANGSTA with his new sunnies. I just love this so much, I had to put it up xD

 hug <3

Oh my god. This is a rarity you're looking at, a photo of Jan and me! This will probably be used by both of our families for the next ten years or so... I'm glad I look okay^^

Okay, I know this is a bit random, but I think the photographer REALLY liked my hairdo, because there's at least 5 pics that have the blurry back of my head in them. Or maybe I was annoying him a lot by walking into all the frames. PHOTOBOMBED!

Anyways, those are the wedding pictures. I'm sorry to say there were none that had my complete outfit in them, but seeing my beautiful sister in her gorgeous wedding gown is good enough I think.

Congratulations again to my sister and her husband!
You guys are the perfect couple.
I love you!!
<3

So, that's it. Don't be surprised if I go into hiatus for a few weeks now after putting out post after post after post in these last days xD
Anyways thanks for reading (or... looking I guess)!
Love

I made dis (Frog girl)

SO. It's a busy week for this blog, huh?

Anyways, I still do "art" sometimes, even the kind that doesn't consist of fashion designs or little comicey drawings of myself during a lecture.
introducing Frog Girl a.k.a. Kaylie (cause she's not wearing a mask).
I think the last time I drew her must be like... YEARS ago. But when I sat down with my GT last night it's just turned out to be her somehow.
Seriously, she just seems to give you bedroom eyes on EVERY picture. I don't know why. It just happens.

This is really just skin shading practice that I have been dying to try out ever since I watched this video by Kienan Lafferty. (SHOUT-OUT TIME!)
So Kienan used to work for riot, doing the splash art for Champions (Ahri, Fizz, Wukong, Redeemed Riven, and many more are his work) and that's how I found his youtube channel, and now he's doing his little webshow while working on his online comic "Emma", which is amazing, go check it out! (Seriously. Go. NOW.)
Unfortunately I have only once managed to stay up long enough to watch his live stream at 4 am, but there's a video on his channel somewhere where he tries to pronounce "zwergprinzessin" xD So yeah, I'm like, a part of the community.
Please please please show him lots of love, he works so hard and he deserves more attention!

Ooooohkay, back to froggy. Now I'm not saying I'll ever be close to as good as Kienan is, but I really liked working on this and I'm pretty happy with the final thing. I know her hair looks really weird when rendered like this, but my main point was to practice skin and I think that turned out pretty damn nice. I still suck horribly at noses and lips though =/

Okay so I guess I just wanted to quickly share this pic and Kienan's channel with you guys. Please go read "Emma", you will not regret it.
Also, let me know what you think of Kaylie's skin and if you have any tips for me ;)
Thank yooooou for reading and smell ya later

Quick Review: "My Oh My" SNSD MV

Hey peeps so I just watched the MV to SNSD's new single "My Oh My" (which is so funny because I have been using this phrase recently xD), which is supposed to be the lead single for the 3rd Japanese album that will be released in DECEMBER (anyone still need a Christmas present idea for me?). And I... I just had to say a few words here.

Ok, first, check out the video if you haven't already:

Ok so we start out with the girls sitting in some café (Jess looking amazing in that first shot), and I didn't know what was going on the first time I watched it. But Seobaby enters and with her is some other girl (like whaaaaat?) and they are kind of spying on this guy who's inside apparently on a date with the girl in the red dress (so many actors!). And all of SNSD are super shocked, like, how dare he show his face with some other girl here, o.m.g. There's generally some really nice acting going on in this scene. Hyoyeon so gorgeous with the blond hair.
We also cut to the dance part a bit and it looks amazing! A lot of hip-action going on there, I wish we'd see more of it in this video. On the other hand, they only (officially) released dance versions of the last two songs ("Galaxy Supernova" and before that "Love and Girls"), so I'm also glad to get an MV with a storyline for a change =D
So the girls continue to be sassy and gossiping. Yoona gets some singing parts which doesn't happen so much usually; as opposed to Sooyoung who I think OWNS this album. She's so amazing, and I'm so proud of her for asking SM to give her more parts (on live TV!!), I think it really payed off!
Ok, further on the vid starts to get a little crazy what with the girls putting that dude in a giant top hat and blindfolding him and TRANSFORMING HIS HANDS TO FEET WTF XD
In that scene we get a cut to a new set and we have the four members that I like to call the "dance squad"(Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona and Sooyoung obviously) walking up to him (and transforming his hands, whatever), and oooooooooooh dear. Those four need more screen time.

Okay, I love the video, the song is very nice as well, but there ARE some things that I don't love: I'm not a fan of the outfits they are wearing, some of the colorblocking is just a bit too much. Also, I thought we were over the whole the-girls-pose-as-a-band-with-instruments thing, because it looks ridiculous and they haven't done it since "Seo Nyuh Shi Dae", which was their SECOND single ever.

As for my "bias" (I might have two or three of them xD), Taeyeon, I was a bit disappointed to see such few parts with her :< (Also stop giving her that hairdo! That looks stupid!) BUT she really kind of owns so many SNSD songs just because she always gets to do the flashy end-vocals, so I think it's ok to cut some of her screen time for other members, like Hyo, who we see a lot in this video. Anyways, Tae gets to fire the canon and sing the last few notes and that's good enough for me =)

The MV ends with Yoona erasing the dude's memory or something. Don't even ask me what they've done with the girl in the red dress, because she's just gone and never mentioned again. (Girls...you scary). So the white-dress-girl gets to have her date and everyone is happy!

All in all a great video, beautiful girls as always. I liked the mood and the make up a lot; and the song has a nice hook to it. Now excuse me while I go listen to it about 16392 times.
Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you soon <3
Love (and Girls =D)
T

[EDIT]:
My favorite parts are when Sooyoung throws down her cards and Jessica's face is all like "bitch you did NOT!"
Also Taeyeon laughing like a maniac with her torch xD dorky kid leader<3
And can I just say that Tiffany's singing in this is reeeeeeeeeeally good? (I felt bad for not mentioning her, even though she's one of my favorite members)

September & October Favorites!

Can you believe it's November already!?
Time goes by so fast, I missed doing a "September Favorites" post xD Well, I decided to just put them both together ^o^

Okay then, let's get to it shall we.
Heeeeeeeeeere we go
1. Twinings Classics Lady Grey tea. Ah, I love this stuff. I've never been a fan of black tea, but the Lady Grey one is just REALLY delicious. Also, we don't have a coffeemaker, so to wake up a bit more in the morning I've been drinking black tea basically every day. I love it with milk and sugar <3
2. Teekanne "Cool Sensations" Ice tea bags. Yes, those are teabags to make with COLD water. I know this is weird, but since the tap water at my place has a bit of a weird taste to it I just can't drink it pure. Those tea bags helped me a lot to still get enough to drink without having to spend a lot of money on juices or stuff like that. If I put those into our water, it tastes just fine. Also, those don't have as many calories as juices or sodas would, so that's a huge plus =)
3. Okay, here we have this pink nail polish. Unfortunately, I took off the label and I can't for the live of me remember where I got it, but I know that the name of the color is "Karl says très chic", because I thought that was hilarious. These days I have been combining this with the Manhattan ProMat Topcoat, a matte topcoat, to get this rich, creamy berry color that is perfect for fall time. Unfortunately, the pink is not the greatest quality nail polish, so it chips off pretty easily and I have to reapply it a lot, but the beautiful color is worth it.
4. This is what I call my Instant Shower Kit, consisting of deodorant from Balea and wet wipes from ebelin. This is great because my Friday schedule sends me straight from ballet practice into a lecture at Uni, so no time for showering - YUCK! Thankfully, I bring my Instant Shower Kit with me every time, and I can do some damage control that only takes 5 minutes ;)
5. The Maybelline New York FIT me! Concealer in 15. Aaaaaaahhh! How long have I looked for a concealer in my skin tone that I can AFFORD! I look so healthy and awake now that I can properly cover up my dark circles xD These days I see even drug store make up brands trending towards pinkish foundation and concealers, which I literally couldn't find ANYWHERE (except Lancôme) two years ago. Huge hurray for that! Now us pinkfaced girls can buy cheaper products as well.
6. H&M's "Divine Eyeshadows" Palette. Oh. My God. You will not believe what awesome quality H&M make up products are. These eyeshadows are very highly pigmented and have a kind of creamy consistency that makes them easy to blend without losing any of the pigment. Now it has to be said that that is not true for ALL shadows in this palette, but just for the 6th one from the left, this shimmery bronzy color, that I use LITERALLY every day (seriously, not kidding), the 5 Euros or what it was that I spent on this palette were already worth it!
7. H&M blush "Autumn Flower". I told you. H&M. This blush is so so so beautiful; it has this little rose pattern and it has a great size and it also comes with a little brush (not a sponge), but I don't love that one so much. Also the color is this nice pop of red, that goes great with my hair, and it's so CRAZY pigmented, you have no idea. I have to be soooo careful not to put on too much, because it's just really red. This has become my new go-to blush, as opposed to the pinker tones I used in summer. Definitely recommend!
8. H&M Lipstick "Diva Bride". Are you kidding me? The name of the color alone is epic xD I have been experimenting with different lip colors since I changed my hair to red, to see what goes with it and what doesn't. You'd be surprised by how many lip colors work with dark pinkish red hair!
At the store this bright pink basically jumped at me and I thought "Can I pull this off?... I HAVE to try!!" And so I did. And I love it.
Now the H&M lipsticks are pretty awesome as well. Very well pigmented and they feel nice on the lips (I always wear lipbalm underneath every lipstick, just to make sure my lips are moisturized enough...), and I will definitely pick myself up some more colors next time I'm at H&M. But "Diva Bride" has a special place in my heart.
9. VICHY Laboratories Normaderm Hyaluspot on the spot anti-imperfection care. Okay, this should have been on my "Favorite beauty products EVER" list, seriously. But I was just starting to use it back then and I wasn't sure about it yet. Let me tell ya. This stuff has REVOLUTIONIZED my skincare. Now I have a horrible horrible picking habit, but the Hyaluspot really helped me with that. Even 5 minutes after applying it, pimples will feel less ...infected somehow. Here's how it works best: If you can tell you're gonna have a pimple, apply the stuff on that area twice a day. After you have slept on it once or twice, the whitehead will have appeared and you can safely squeeze it out. (I know you shouldn't even do that, but I'm a horrible picker and really it's better than mutilating my entire face by scratching it open when it's not ready yet). After that you just apply some healing cream on it and you should be almost rid of the whole thing the next day. At least that's how it works for me. Now it's not like I get fewer pimples since I use Hyaluspot, but it definitely reduces the life span of an average pimple to 3-5 days, instead of 1-2 weeks depending on how much I scratched it. This has really helped me with my skin, I love it, and I really recommend it.
10. Now last but ABSOLUTELY not least: My TOTORO Sweater!! My boyfriend got it for me for my birthday <3 Omg I love this thing. Not only does it have a little Totoro-face and -ears, but it's also SO warm and comfy, I never want to take it off ever again! 'Nuff Said.

Other favorites of the last two months aaaare:
MUSIC
Okay, there's actually kind of more like a collection of favorite ALBUMS I had these days, but I'll try and pick my favorite songs from there.

- Flyleaf "New Horizons" Well I think I said enough about this album in my last post. Go check it out if you haven't already; my favorite song, obviously, is "New Horizons"

- Girls' Generation "Girls Generation", SNSD's first Japanese album is also the only one that I physically own (bought it at the K-Pop dance festival in June). This and "New Horizons" is all I've been listening to on my way to Uni and back home. This is just a good album. The end.
At first it was weird to hear some of the songs in Japanese instead of Korean, but I got used to it. Now if you see me on the bus and I'm jerking around weirdly, that's because a song like "Genie" or "Run Devil Run" just came up and I'm dancing along in my head xD
Uhm my favorite song... that's a hard one. I think it might be "The Great Escape", even though I basically like all of them equally.

- f(x) "Pink Tape", omg I need this CD. It is SO. good. I told you before, I love f(x), they're amazing singers, I want them to be as successful as SNSD!
Okay, my bf has been listening to a lot of electronic kind of music recently, so I kind of got into it as well, which is probably why I enjoy "Pink Tape" so much. Yes, there's some really electric stuff there ("Airplane"), but I kinda like it.
Fav song..s: "Pretty Girl" and "Goodbye Summer", those are just soooooooooooooo well sung, oh my, oh my! I can't handle it, I just... I can't.
Also "Snapshot", "Step" and "Toy". And everything. AAaaaaaahhh xD

Oh, also (Yes, more K-Pop), I've been loving "Baby Steps" by TTS. I haven't listened to any other TTS song except "Twinkle" before and I kinda just stumbled over Baby Steps but oooooooooooooooh my God. Oh. My. God. The feels. Cannot. I just. I'm so done.
*goes to stand in a corner to cry*
TaeTiSeo, why are you doing this to me? This song. They're such wonderful singers. And Taeyeon. Taeyeon just kills me every time with the "Somebody help me!" part.
Check them out singing this live. Oh my. Crying.

GAMES

Well, obviously, we picked up Pokemon X/Y right on the release day, what are we, casuals? Because I'm a girl I got X, and Blauko and Jan are guys, so they both got Y.
What can I say? I love it. It's POKEMON you guys. The only Pokemon game I ever didn't LOVE as much as the others was Black/White, but I still played that for months.
DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? It's Pokemon. That's all.

Then there's always League of Legends of course, but the last month has indeed been special, because Jan and I finally started playing ranked games, and got right into Silver1 (victorious ward skin for me!).Also: Who else is PUMPED for preseason? YES. YES. YES to all the changes they are making; Supporter gold income, vision distribution, TEAM BUILDER? Hell yeah. Can't wait.

BOOK
Okay I don't even know if that counts as OCTOBER favorite still, because I only just read it the past weekend, but "The ocean at the end of the lane" by Neil Gaiman, my all time favorite author. His newest book, and I swallowed it up in a matter of 48 hours. It's so good. Creepy, scary, sad and sometimes kinda gross. Exactly what we want from Mr Gaiman.

Oh wow that was a lot of text xD That's it about my Sep/Oct favs I guess ^^
Can I just say that this fall was AMAZING? We haven't had that kind of fall weather for YEARS in central Europe. Usually it's just hot in summer, then it's raining for a week in September, and after that it's winter. But this year we had proper fall weather with the colored leafs and sunny days and foggy days and everything and I LOVED it. This week though, I think weather has decided to go cold for good, which is also fine by me. Cuddle weather :3 Lot's of tea and soup. Yay ^^

Okay now, thanks for reading all of this xD I hope you find some of these thing as awesome as I do. If you try anything out, please let me know what you thought about it. Also feel free to tell me your fall favorites/recommendations!

Flyleaf "New Horizons" album review

Subtitle: Goodbye Lacey =(

Hey there everyone, today's post is a bit of a change from the usual girlie-stuff. Sometimes I need to stop talking about make-up and taking selfies and get real for a second.
No Halloween posts from me, unfortunately, because I'm not going to any kind of event or party and even if I did, I would have started planning way too late to make a costume for myself, not to mention make a tutorial about it.
So instead I'm doing music today.
Let's talk about flyleaf. It was over four years ago when Ien and Lisa (love you guys!) first introduced me to this band. The first song I heard was "Cassie". I think it was during my stay in Japan when I really started listening to their music, and I even bought their first album in a mall in Japan!
For a long time I used to say "My favorite bands are Flyleaf and Paramore", but Paramore (amazing as though they are) have been pushed back to second place for a while now. Not only is flyleaf's first album (self-titled) incredible, their second one, "Memento Mori", has been my go-to singalong album for YEARS.

Then, about a year ago, singer/songwriter Lacey Sturm announced that she was leaving flyleaf! I gotta say my heart was a little broken. BUT before that they kicked out one more album, "New Horizons", which is the best thing this band has ever created. Ever.
Think they did it so everyone would have a reason to properly miss Lacey?
I think so. Now, let me get something clear. I know I easily get excited and because of that I tend to exaggerate a lot, saying stuff like "omg I love this" or "This is the best thing ever!".
This way it's a bit hard to tell when I'm actually being sincere. But rest assured that a lot of time and thought went into the statement when I say: Flyleaf's "New Horizons" is. hands. down. the. SINGLE. best. album I have EVER. heard.

Let me try and explain why.
First off, Flyleaf just makes good music. The kind of post-grunge/alternative metal thing they are doing works SO well. Almost all of their songs are extremely well produced and written, speaking in terms of music. There's some talented people working on these tracks and I also feel like they are really trying hard to make every song a perfect little composition in itself. Now, this is obviously true for both of Flyleaf's other albums as well; it just had the biggest impact on me personally in "New Horizons". Something about the order of the songs, and the mix of really strong and loud anthems and beautiful calm ballads... I don't know, the whole composition of this CD just does it for me.

Then there's the songs themselves.
Now I don't get around mentioning that Flyleaf's members are all very religious and this does show in a lot of their songs, but even though I'm not a very faithful Christian myself, it never stopped me from loving their music. First, because I think a song has a different meaning for everyone who listens to it, but also I'm of the belief that pure, unconditional faith is something very admirable (even though - or maybe because - I cannot claim to have it myself).
That being out of the way, let's talk about the lyrics. To my ears, "New Horizons" isn't so much about Christianity, as about basic human values. Like, there's a lot of songs that are about the entertainment industry (e.g. "Cage on the Ground", "Green Heart" and others) and how money has become more important to people than their own souls. I love those, because I agree so very much.
Somehow Flyleaf always manages to put things into words that have been somewhere on my mind, but I never thought about saying it out loud. But then, once I think about it, I realize that that's exactly what's wrong with humanity.

Of course that's not the only kind of song on "New Horizons", I was just trying to make an example of why I love this CD so much. There's also a lot of very emotional stuff that I identify with very much. Some honorable mentions are:

- "Call you Out": So this song gives me goosebumps for some very personal reasons. Anyone with ears in their head can figure out what those are: Because of a dear friend of mine, I keep finding myself in this situation where I'm one of two things: Either so incredibly sad, I can't even seriously talk about it; or just... so ANGRY, I wanna punch someone! (not just anyone either, someone specific) Now the latter of both is what makes me love "Call you Out" so much, because it's just LITERALLY (did I ever use this word the right way before?) what I would say, if I had any way to do so.

- "Broken Wings": Ah, now this is the other half of my emotional spectrum in this situation. At least, the way I listen to it. Other than that it's just heartbreakingly beautiful, and amazingly well sung.

- "New Horizons": Where do I start. The title track of this album is (being sincere again) my favorite song, ever. It's what gets me up in the morning, I shit you not.
The first few lines of this song is what I would get tattooed (if I didn't think tattoos, and especially text tattoos, were so stupid):

"So you're, tired, but you're alive
so open up your eyes and
you can get your sleep when you are dead,
kill the clock inside your head,
bring your normalcy
to the edge
and watch it drown in
New Horizons,
New Horizons"

I don't know why, but those words give me so much strength and motivation.
I didn't know I needed this song in my life, but now I usually don't go a full day without listening to it at least once.
Okay, I feel like the more I talk about it, the less meaning it has... So I'll stop now.

I guess my entire point of this post is: This. album. is. amazing.
Go listen to it, if you don't know it yet.
If you don't like it, that's fine too. Just know that you're dead to me.

I'm just kidding. I guess all I wanted to do is share something that's really important to me.
I hope you enjoy this kind of post, because I don't think it'll be the last one I make.

Thanks for reading anyways!
Love,
T <3

New Hair REVEALED! Also selfie-trouble. (halp meh!)

SOOOooooo the time has come.
I actually wanted to do ze revealing of ze hair in a tutorial post, but that one got postponed (get it? =D), because something came up:
EMODA is looking for an ambassador and I would just about kill someone to get that position. I know I don't really stand a chance, but I'm the kind of person who will still try, no matter the odds.
(Go to http://emoda-webstore.com/ for more info :3)

My point being: entering the competition requires me to send in a face close-up (of myself, obviously) and I happen to think that I suck at taking selfies. I'm also socially awkward so I don't wanna ask some other person to take like 20 pictures of me until I find one that I like.
So I use "showing you my new hair color" as an excuse to list all my recent selfies (there are a LOT - I'm trying to get better.) and have YOU choose which one I should send in.

So without further ado, here are tons of pictures of my face (yay -.-)
1. Straight from the hairdresser's. O.M.G. I love those people.
Note: I did not do any editing on this except for cropping. This is the actual color my hair has.

 2. I... do not know when I took this one. What I DO know is that I the mirror-selfie definitely works best for me. Idk, I can just predict the outcome a lot better..? Anyways, I kinda like this one, though it took a lot of adjusting in photoshop to make it bright enough =/

 3. First in a line of manymany pics I took on my boyfriend's birthday, when my lamp made my hair look a lot more orangey than it is. Now this one doesn't really qualify for the EMODA thing, but I still put it up, because I kinda like it ^^ (camera focus fail though u_u I'm still learning)

 4. I call this the "Jessica" face, referring to SNSD obviously. I don't know why exactly but it just reminds me of her. (I'd never, EVER claim to be as fucking beautiful as any of the SNSD members, I'm just talking about the expression here...)

Those two don't qualify, so they're not even getting numbers ^^ I have a lot of this kind of picture, where I was about to press the shutter and then looked back at the screen of my camera for some reason and then I end up with either (left) derpy-face, or (right) super-drama-face.

 5. Now this one I honestly like. Mainly because my hair looks so...neat <3 I think this one might be my favorite for EMODA.
Another thing I've been practicing: liquid eyeliner! Turns out that shit makes fotos look like 80% better. Huh. This pic is obviously not appropriate to send in, but I was so proud of my eyeliner that day (might be the reason I took so many pics :P), I had to share.
 6. THE CRAZY EYES! I swear, this is just my face. When I try to do a no-expression face, this is what happens: I look like I want to stare into your soul. Since the crazy eyes are kind of my signature thing, and also because my face can be seen very well in this pic, I think this might be a good candidate for the EMODA picture... maybe?
 7. Very orangey hair again, that's just the artificial light in my room. Problem with the mirror selfies: I only have mirrors in the back part of my room, where no natural light ever reaches anything =/

Hee hee. I just liked that one. Looks badass ^o^ (if it wasn't for my little chubbyhand)

 8. Look at that. An honest-to-God laugh. Hah. Fun story: I was taking selfies in my room and I heard my boyfriend singing "You better run, run, run, run,..." in the other room. That's what made me laugh. Seriously. Making him sing Girls Generation. Hihi.  This picture is very precious to me :3
Fact: I actually eye-smile a lot, when my smile is sincere. There's a pic of me at the wedding (hoping to get my hands on those soon to show you) where you can hardly see my eyes because I'm smiling so much.
 9. So here's the pics from this morning. I had my hair in braids last night so I could wear one of my favorite hairstyles today. I kinda like this one with the lighting and my face being clear and all, but I'm making a bit of a funny face =/
10. Even funnier face, and, weirdly, I like this one even more. Something about my hair and the scarf and...Idk. (TOTORO! btw ^^)

Sohooooo, that's all. You sick of my face yet? ^^
Pleeeeheeease let me know which one you like best (just use the numbers) as soon as you can, either on my facebook page, or in the comments right here <3
Also if you like my new hair color, I recommend going to "Intercoiffeur Katharina Strassl" in Vienna, those guys are amazeballs, and the prices are completely affordable! (Also it's just two streets away from my place, so don't forget to stop by ;D)
Anyways thanks so much for reading and - in advance - for your counsel =)
Love and snuggles and all the good stuff :*

The "morning routine Priority System" + Updates

YAY! I finally managed to get my lazy ass back to blogging!
I'm very sorry for slacking off so much over the last weeks. But with Uni life starting again and just about every person I know moving to Vienna, I was just super overwhelmed.
But, on a similar note, I can now proudly introduce Buttons&Brushes' new category "lifestyle". There's gonna be two sub-sections called "Uni life" and "City life", which, being a easily-overwhelmed countryside girl, I still need to learn a lot about.
I guess "Uni life" will be interesting to anyone in school, college or University. "City life" might only be useful to fellow countryside people moving to a bigger city, and mostly not even that, because Vienna really doesn't qualify as a VERY big city... BUT maybe you'll still get a lough out of my struggles to manage the big city life =)

Other than that, there's also been another big change in my life recently: my hair color! I will not reveal it just yet (mainly because I haven't managed to take an ok picture so far), but I'm gonna say this much: it's kinda crazy. There will be a post about hair soon, so please look forward to that =)

OKAY, so since I'm introducing the lifestyle category, let me start by teaching you the way of  the "morning routine Priority System", which can be life saving for you chaotic and long-sleeping people out there.

So this has happened to me on several occasions now: I set my alarm early, thinking I'll have a lot of time to get ready, and then somehow I end up having to rush around to even make it to my classes on time. The person showing up at Uni then looks like this: (note: hinting on my new hair)
Why? Not because I didn't have enough time, or sleep. But because I don't have structure, I don't have a plan. I end up doing nothing for a lot of time, because I'm confused and sleepy and overwhelmed by all the things I still need to do.
So, here's the trick. I call it the "morning routine Priority System". I'm pretty sure I invented this, though I am not too proud, because it's really very simple. What you do is you break down "getting ready" into several small activities, e.g. breakfast, shower, brushing your teeth, packing your bag,...
You don't even have to make a mental list, you just have to keep all your little activities in mind. Then, you start with the MOST IMPORTANT ONE, being the one with the highest priority, hence the title. I usually start off with coffee or, recently, black tea, for reasons of hydration and caffeine. Next, all you have to do when you're close to finishing up your first activity is think of all the ones that are left, and which one of them is the next in line of priority.
For me it helps to think in this way:

"I COULD leave the house without brushing my teeth, but I CANNOT leave the house without packing my bag for class."

This specific example might sound gross, but it's true. So I pack my bag first and while I do that I think about which is the next important thing to do.This way, you will know what to do next and, assuming you've taken enough time in total, you will not need to rush anything. Of course, your total time depends on how many little activities you have every morning. For me, it's a lot, including packing a lunchbox and putting on make up. Also, just because you put back a certain activity, like "brushing my teeth", doesn't mean you're not doing that at all. It might even be the next in line of priority. You efficiently work through all of them, and if you've taken enough total time, you will comfortably finish them too. For total time I usually think 1,5-2 hours, depending on if I need to take a shower or not, and then I add an extra 30 minutes just to be on the safe side. If, by any chance, you miscalculated and you DON'T have enough time to finish all your activities, at least you'll have done what you considered important first and you won't be a total mess, like I am when I just dilly-dally through my mornings.

Now, here's why this is so great: For one, I'm horrible at fixed morning routines, I never even had one when I was in school and I had to get up at the same time every day. Now, at Uni, when my classes are at complete random times, it's a lot nicer to have a flexible routine that's efficient.
Also, working efficiently really wakes me up and then I feel better (also because I feel a lot more confident if my hair is done and I'm wearing make up), and I also find myself able to pay more attention during class.
Now the person showing up to Uni looks like this:

I know this might not necessarily be great for everyone, but it really changed MY life for the better, and I wanted to share!
If you're an anti-morning-person like me, give it a try and I guarantee you will be feeling a lot more motivated and healthy! (Well, if you're in high school, I understand if you can't be motivated for anything, but it might still help a little ^^)
You. Are. Very. Welcome.

Please please let me know if you tried any of my tips, or if YOU have any special tips for morning routines. I'd also really appreciate feedback on the little comics and if you'd like to see more of those!
Thank you so very much for reading!

League of Legends: Nami inspired Make-Up Tutorial

Yay :3
Okay, as you have noticed I play League of Legends quite frequently. Also, combining the Girly and the "Nerdy" (pf, bloody casuals) is a big hobby of mine.
So, today's tutorial was inspired by Nami, the Tidecaller. Nami's competition for "T's favorite Champion" is not very big. There IS always Sona, which I love, but Nami is just more.. exciting.
And not only is she my favorite Champ concerning gameplay, she also has one of the most beautiful designs in the entire League.
Since I'm not big on cosplaying (because I'm just not talented enough for that), I like to pay tribute to my favorite characters in a different way: breaking up their color palette into a look that's wearable for other occasions than just a convention ;)

Ok, so here's my Nami look:
and let's jump right into the tutorial!
1) I started out by just putting on foundation and priming my eyelids
2) Then I applied a creamy golden eye shadow in the inner corners of my eyelids, up to about the center.
3) Right on the center of my eyelid I put a very bright green shadow. Mine is kind of matte, but since Nami is a fish, you could totally go for a more shimmery look if you wanted to.
4) Next you load up your brush with a dark teal color. I mean be really generous with this. The best way to apply this is by dabbing your brush on the outer V of your eyelid, and then take a fluffy brush to blend it into the other colors and little towards the outside.
5) For a bit of contouring/highlighting, use a matte bronze/rusty brown shadow and sweep it into your crease. Blend this fairly well to create depth (lower arrow). Then use a light greenish-golden color to highlight you browbone (upper arrow). See how that makes the look more dynamic and less flat?
6) With the same light color, highlight the inner corner of your eyelid and you tear duct. That will give you bright, cute eyes.

You should now have something that looks like picture 7. Now's where the fun begins! =) (I switched to lighter arrows to better demonstrate the dark colors)
8) Line your lower lash line with a bright blue. Try to find a tone that is almost glowing, like this one I'm using from IQ (products listed at the end, as always).
9) Take a very dark blue shadow and dab it just on the outer edge of your eye, and blend it up into the brown and also a little bit into your lower line from step 8.
10) Use a dark grey shadow (take Nami's armor for reference) and line your upper lash line with it. No need to wing it out too much, since there's already the dark blue shadow there.
11) Since I'm super incompetent with liquid eyeliner, I kept it very simple here, just doing the slightest of flicks at the end. I also only started in the middle of my eyelid, to keep the inner corners bright. If you want to, I'm sure a nice bold catline would look great as well.
12) Last but not least. In the splash art, they changed Nami's eyes to orange, but the ingame model's are still a pinkish red color. Because I can't put in contact lenses to save my life, I used a red lipliner (I cleaned it) as an eyeliner instead to represent them. Now you have to be careful with this, or your eyes will end up looking irritated. Just put it on the outer half of your waterline and you should be fine. Just to be on the safe side, I added my trusty light pink liner to the inner half.

So far, so good. So after that I basically just finished my facial make up with concealer, translucent powder and some bronzer for my cheekbones (I ended up putting my usual pink blush over it, because just the bronzer wasn't "me" enough I guess). I almost forgot putting on mascara, but just almost. Then I decided to do a gradient lip, which I achieved with concealer and lip stain.

And that's the finished look! I realize it's probably not appropriate for running errands and judging by the look the lady at the post office gave me, she didn't think so either, but it's a nice glamorous but colorful look for a night out or even a formal event.
Here's some more pics:
(by the way, I'm still working on getting the hang of my camera, so be nice :P)

Messing around with my camera. I just liked how this one turned out with all the mess I made on the table =D
Obligatory Crazy Eyes.

DRAMA!!!

And that's that. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it =)
Thank you so much for reading!

August Favorites!

Friday is blog day <3
I know, I'm a little late on this and also I haven't posted in a while, but I was kind of busy and hey - better late than never!
So let's get you up to date with my glorious life: The wedding was incredibly beautiful - I cried more than the bride did. Afterwards, the kids from Tacoma stayed at our house for a week and BOY do I still not like kids. Don't get me wrong, those three are really cute and all, but it was just really exhausting...
So I'm finally back in Vienna since Saturday and I'm super PUMPED for Uni to start again in October, I really am. I'm doing ballet with Anna again this semester, but I had to cut the choir out of my schedule, nor for lack of time, but because it would just make me too sad to go there. I also wanted to take a Hip-Hop course instead, but those are all at super inconvenient locations for me so I didn't =/ Maybe next semester.

Okay, enough with the talking already, let's jump into my August favorites!
I'm still getting the hang of my new camera, so no judging please xD
Ok here are my beauty/fashion favs for this month and because I forgot to put numbers on it I'll just explain about them left to right:
The alverde hydrating conditioner is something my mom happened to have at her place, so that's why I used it too. I did not expect it to be this awesome! Ok beside the fact that it's made all of natural ingredients, which I love, it also somehow makes my hair super shiny and soft and it's great. I had a feeling like it also makes my hair take on a curl better (!!!), so naturally I got it for myself once I was back here.
Then there's the GOSH natural blush in 43 Flower Power that I actually used all summer, because it's really strongly pigmented so a little bit of product goes a long way, also I thought the color was really summer-appropriate and THE NAME IS FUCKING "FLOWER POWER"!!!! I'm just sayin'..
Next we have the ANNIE nailpolish in 373.10 Lucky Surfer Girl which I did NOT end up wearing for the wedding, but all the rest of August I did =D. This beautiful pale yellow was kind of my Color of the Season, but I didn't exactly find a lot of clothing in that color, so I was really happy to have this polish, so I was able to add a little sunshine to every outfit ^o^
Ok this might sound weird, but the Compeed Invisible Fever Blister Patches saved my life this month. About once every year my herpes acts up and I get a fever blister somewhere around my lips and this year's was HUMONGOUS! My mom of course gave me like 5 different things to put on it (no kidding - it was at least five.) and those did great work too, but for going out it's just really nice to have something to put over it. I just feel much less uncomfortable wearing one of those.
Last but definitely not least: My awesome bow purse from Tally Weijl of all the things in this picture, this one deserves to be here the most, because I carried it with me literally EVERY DAY. It's just so much nicer, especially in summer, to have a white purse instead of a black one. It instantly makes the outfit look cuter and less dark. The only downside: I can't fit my sketchbook in there =( But I guess I won't have that problem once Uni starts again and I have to carry all my books and stuff. It was nice to have an August summer fling with this purse :3

Ok, as for my non-beauty favorites:
Song: f(x) - Rum Pum Pum Pum
Yes, I love K-Pop and I will not be ashamed! My new obsession are f(x), who are so very much easier to obsess over than SNSD, just because they're 5 people, and not 9 xD All five members of f(x) are just so likable, I couldn't ever decide who I like best. Maybe Victoria. Maybe. Anyways, I like all of their songs (I didn't at first, but they get better the more you listen to them... is that bad? xD), but Rum Pum Pum Pum is the one that started my craze.

Book: Marissa Meyer - The Lunar Chronicles
Oh God.
I KNOW how this looks, ok? At first I thought it would be dumb too.
Let me just explain. I finally managed to get to "A Dance with Dragons" yay! But I fell into the Song of Ice an Fire hole again, where I want to know what happens, but I just don't wanna read the book D= While still reading "A Dance with Dragons" I managed to read: All three of the Tributes of Panem books (Hunger Games for those who don't brain), the Tiffany Aching/Wee Free Men books by Terry Pratchett (well, I'm at "Wintersmith" currently) AND the first two books of The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. Here's how that came to be: We went swimming while the kids were still staying with us, but I couldn't go into the water because I had a cold. So I still came along to watch the kids. I did bring my kindle with "Dance of Dragons" but I just couldn't be bothered to read that. So I happened to see the book Sega (the oldest) brought along - "Cinder" by Marissa Meyer. When I saw the cover I thought it would be some stupid Twilight knock-off, but then I read the blurb (TIL "blurb"), and it was about cyborgs and moon people and whaaaaaaaaat. So I gave it a go, and not 12 hours later I had finished the first book. I have to say the ending was not surprising AT ALL, I knew what was gonna happen right from the start, BUT it was great fun to read nonetheless, I loved the parallels to "Cinderella" and I have by now finished "Scarlet", the second book of the series. The next one will be out in February and I'm not gonna miss it, period.

Food: Blueberries
To say that those are my AUGUST favs is a COLOSSAL understatement. I have been buying blueberries non-stop ever since spring. I love love love those things, they're delicious and good for your body. This is the kind of food that I let myself obsess over freely. In fact, I'm having some right now. I'm serious. Blueberries. All the way.

Champion: Zyra
Oh yesssssss. I love her. Since I hardly ever play anything apart from support, I knew that sooner or later I would have to buy Zyra. I guess what stopped me from doing so was her design, which I just don't like. The whole pink-and-green and her stupid hair and OMG THAT EARRING, it's just repulsive to me. But then I realized: I can get the skin! Now I own Wildfire Zyra, which I think should more fittingly be named Volcano Zyra, and I'm super happy that I do.
First off, I think it's absolutely ok to let Riot have some money for their hard work. They provide everything else for free, ok? Also, like I said, I couldn't possibly play her classic skin.
So far I have been loving her as a support, she has great CC and still deals a good amount of damage, even with support items. Also: I love the skin ingame, the plants just look awesome.
At this rate Zyra might be up there with Nami and Sona at some point. Then again, she doesn't have a heal...

Anyways, that's my favorite stuff for last month! Let me know if you have ever tried any of it.
Thanks a lot for reading this crazy long post ^o^
Love
T.
